Meet The Band

Jimmy Mitchell   Born in the 50's and raised in the shadows of NYC, Jimmy has been developing Street Corner since 1996. He started Street Corner with friends as an Acapella Doo-Wop Quintet. After 5 years of Acapella, Jimmy decided it was time to add a band and become a full blown 50's & 60's Experience.

Shayne "Oh what a " Knight - Keyboards/Lead Vocals

After filling in for a couple of shows Shayne decided she was having too much fun and had to stay.

Shayne teaches music in the Liverpool school system. Shayne has played and performed in the Syracuse area theatres including The Civic Center, Salt City and the Turning Stone Casino.

Mary Beth Stiles - Drums and Vocals
Mary Beth played extensivly in the Syracuse area during the 70's and 80's before "retiring" to raise a family. Street Corner's lucky day was when she dusted off her drums and picked up where she left off. In addition to delivering a steady beat, this wonderfully talented musician adds backup vocals and an occasional lead to the mix.    Whether she's drummin' or himmin', Singin' or swingin', you're always in Style, with Mary Beth

Dan, the "cool statistician" takes the lead guitar and on occasion some of the vocal chores for the group.  Click on Dan's pic to go to his web site.   Dan now has 217 Street Corner shows to his credit.  But who's counting?

Rebecca "Austin " Roche - is our newest member of Street Corner.  Austin is a Maine native who moved to Syracuse in 2003.  Her first memory of singing was when she was 7 years old and sang the melody to "You are my sunshine" while her mother and brother sang 2-part harmony.  She's been hooked ever since and will sing just about anywhere - except the shower.

Gary Wilson     Street Corner's Grand ol' man of Rock and Roll.   Gary started his music career in the US Navy, where he learned to play Bass.  A seasoned vet on the Syracuse music scene we welocome Gary with open arms.
